Robert Frost is one of my favorite American poets. This line is from a short poem I memorized for a language arts class in high school and again recited for a college poetry class: “The Road not Taken.”

Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening is one of my favorites. I remember we had to memorize it in 6th grade, and I can probably still come close to remembering the whole poem today. “The woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have promises to keep” are probably my favorite lines.
This is another of my favorites by Frost which I memorized in 7th grade. Ah, memories.
Thanks for stopping by my blog (doesn’t have the same poetic ring as “Stopping by Woods” does it?)
